VETERAN swimmers and members of Aqua Sports activities Membership Anjali Gajbhiye and Nilima Dharkar introduced laurels to the Metropolis by profitable a number of medals on the not too long ago held eighth Nationwide Video games – 2023 organised by Sanyukta Bhartiya Khel Basis at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukharjee Swimming Pool, Talkatora, New Delhi. Representing Maharashtra, Nagpur’s Anjali gained three gold medals in Girls 35-40 years age class in 50m and 100m freestyle and 100m breaststroke.

 

Nilima gained two gold in 51-55 years in 200m and 400m freestyle and a silver in 50m backstroke. Each the swimmers acquired certified for Worldwide Swimming Championship – 2023 which is scheduled at Dubai later this 12 months. Each the swimmers are the common members of Aqua Sports activities Membership and trains below Dr Pravin Lamkhade (NSNIS, Patiala) and ASCA Degree – 5 coach Vishal Chandurkar at NIT Swimming Pool.

 

Aqua Sports activities Membership President Mohan Nahatkar, Secretary Mangesh Gadre, Director, Midland Sports activities Prashant Ugemuge, Vice-President Operations, Preeti Lanjekar, Supervisor (Operations), Ashwin Janbandhu, Senior most NIS coach of Maharastra IG Pande, veteran swimmer Prabhakar Sathe and others congratulated each the swimmers and wished them luck for future.
